Match Format
NRL22 is a pre-defined, course of fire, with five stages that are published the week prior to the match on the NRL22 website. All monthly NRL22 matches across the nation shoot the same 5 stages so you can compare your scores against other shooters who competed on the same stage, effectively making every match, a nationally-ranked competition.
Participants are encouraged to review the course of fire for the monthly stages in advance of the match.
Each match starts out with registration/check-in. Shooters not already assigned to a squad will be at this time.
Registration/check-in is followed by a safety briefing given by the Match Director(s), The Match Director(s) will cover how to safely participate in the match at our range, some common issues that should be avoided during the match and will answer any questions.
After the safety briefing a 30-min sight-in period will begin where a 50-yard paper target will be available to verify zero.
After sight-in is completed, squads move to their respective stages and SOs will give a walkthrough. At this time, you can ask any clarifications about the stages and what will or will not be allowed before the shoot begins. Shooters then take turns shooting the stage they’re on until the entire squad has finished, then the squads moves together to the next stage and repeats the process.
Once all of the squads have completed all of the stages, the scores will be tallied, and results posted online to Practiscore and the NRL.
